About Friends of the Library

Our Mission

The Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library was formed in 1953. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and consist entirely of volunteers.

The purpose of this organization shall be:

  • To raise funds through book sales and other means to benefit the library
  • To promote the library’s programs, resources, services and needs to the residents of Pleasant Hill and surrounding communities
  • To support efforts toward a new Pleasant Hill Library facility.
